Kappa League

The Fort Washington Alumni Chapter and its Foundation's Krimson Achievement contribution to the Guide Right/Kappa League movement is a commendable effort aimed at improving the educational outcomes of underrepresented students in the community. By focusing on increasing high school retention, graduation, college enrollment, and graduation rates among low-income and academically ambitious minority males, the initiative addresses critical gaps in educational equity.
Program Objectives
The program's objectives are clear and purposeful, ranging from providing general guidance and support for at-risk youth to promoting personal and social responsibility and encouraging participation in service and community activities. These objectives align with the overarching goal of fostering a sense of achievement and preparing students for success in post-secondary education and beyond.
Our Students
The program's focus on first-generation, low-income, and academically promising minority males reflects a commitment to serving those who often face significant barriers to accessing higher education. By providing them with mentorship, support, and resources tailored to their needs and aspirations, the program empowers these young men to pursue their dreams and contribute positively to their communities.
Overall, initiatives like the Guide Right/Kappa League movement play a vital role in creating pathways to success for underrepresented students and promoting a more equitable and inclusive society.
